AI-GENERATED ABSTRACT: Abstract: This study investigates the integration between Business Process Modeling (BPM) tools and Value Stream Mapping (VSM) as a synergistic approach to address the challenges encountered when using each approach independently. A comprehensive review of the literature was conducted to explore existing research and best practices in BPM and VSM. The integrated VSM seeks to leverage the strengths of both approaches, combining the visual simplicity and clarity of traditional VSMs with the detailed process mapping capabilities offered by BPM tools. A validation phase was conducted to gather feedback from lean manufacturing experts regarding the integrated tool, which yielded promising results and further validated the potential of the integrated approach.
