Sedentary behavior at work is a major health concern, and there is a need for innovative solutions to promote physical activity and combat the negative effects of prolonged sitting. The aim of this research is to investigate how office workstation design can facilitate active working and incorporate physical activity into daily tasks. The methodology includes a literature review on office design history, workplace guidelines, and recommendations from the World Health Organization. Case studies are analyzed to identify successful approaches in promoting movement and reducing sedentary behavior. Based on the findings, an office design proposal is presented to encourage physical activity in the workplace and contribute to a healthier society.
