| dc.description.abstract | This research endeavors to explore the origins and unique characteristics of the Arabic script, with an emphasis on unresolved challenges in Arabic typography. The study aims to establish guidelines for developing contemporary Arabic fonts while preserving its distinct identity. Beyond the technical aspects, the research seeks to revive and enhance the script's cultural importance and to demonstrate its capabilities, which are on par with the Latin script. The overarching research question centers on what rules and guidelines should be implemented to both modernize Arabic fonts and maintain their unique identity.
