dc.description.abstractAI-GENERATED ABSTRACT: Abstract: Purpose- By examining the impact of male-dominated startup sectors on the workplace this thesis explores the influence of power dynamics in startups on the workplace, with a focus on the organizational culture that impacts the underrepresentation of women in these settings. Design/methodology/approach- This research employs a qualitative methodology, specifically using semi-structured interviews as the primary method of data collection. Convenience sampling is employed to select participants from the research population. The interviews facilitate a comprehensive understanding of the perspectives, experiences, and approaches of participants in regard to addressing gender issues in male-dominated startups in Berlinches Findings- The results of the study enclose enlightened aspects of the prevalence of male power in startup industries and reveal the norms, expectations, and power dynamics that are involved in the workplace. The interviews capture the perspectives of males and females regarding the difficulties women have encountered and their strategies for dealing with these issues. Originality/value- By shedding light on the specific dynamics and experiences of women in this particular setting, this thesis contributes to the existing literature on female entrepreneurship and the influence of power dynamics in the workplace. It provides new insights and knowledge in this field.
