dc.description.abstract"The thesis includes relevant information about Design for participatory building processes. Related to this topic a temporary community space for migrants in Mae Sot is going to support the design proposal. It's based on building up a convenient program related to these specific topics focusing on people who are living in bad conditions, for those who are looking for a better future. The project is related to a social status to a target group with no or less working experiences. In this case it would be Burmese migrants, mostly families in Mae Sot with less or no income. They should have the opportunity to live a better life in the future and have hope again, even if it's only a small start of having some institutions, for example like schools, community spaces, hospitality or job centers etc. The aim is to provide them a space where they can learn practical skills in order to make them more employable. Also, a moment in their life to forget about the negative conditions and to have a few seconds of peace. So how can one create a space as functional as possible according to the Burmese migrants' need."en
