Abstract
MACHINE-GENERATED SUMMARY NOTE : The shortage of living spaces in metropolitan cities is globally a central challenge for which many politicians, architects and the whole society has to deal with. 'Yet building grounds and plots of land in cities are limited' (Kramer, 2018, 6). But according to prognoses from 2018 of the 'Senatsverwaltung für Stadtentwicklung und Wohnen', the growth of population is up to 3,888 Mio. for 2025 only in Berlin (Senatsverwaltung für Stadtentwicklung und Wohnen, 2019, 3).
