R-SUPPLIED ABSTRACT: This study investigates the problem of loneliness among international students in Germany. It analyses the causes and effects of loneliness and the efforts of universities to address it. It examines the significant challenges students face, such as language barriers, cultural differences, and social isolation, which contribute to feelings of loneliness and affect their mental health. Using a quantitative methodology approach, the research analyses the relationship between loneliness and factors such as anxiety, depression, language proficiency, and personality traits. The findings suggest that social support networks and university services will play essential roles in reducing loneliness and improving students' overall well-being. This study aims to help develop recommendations for strengthening university support services and promoting a more inclusive environment to increase international students' social and academic success.
