This thesis analyses the influence of architecture on human emotions, with a particular focus on loneliness. Examining different spatial contexts—urban, building and interior—provides a broader perspective on the issue. By combining architectural and psychological perspectives, the study investigates how architectural elements, such as lighting, layout, materials and the distinction between public and private space, may affect mental well-being. The research aims to identify architectural strategies that help mitigate loneliness.
